About the Farmers Market

Hinesville Downtown Farmers Makes Fresh, Local Food Accessible to Community

The Hinesville Downtown Farmers Market is preparing for the 2018 season. Fresh local produce, agricultural/farm items, flowers and plants, baked goods, specialty foods, take-and-heat prepared meals, and original crafts will be featured at the market. The market runs from 3-7 p.m. every Thursday, May through October, in downtown Hinesville’s Bradwell Park.

Now in its eighth season, the market has become the Thursday night “place to be” in Liberty County, as regular and new customers catch up with friends and chat with vendors whom they’ve come to know and like.

“Goals for the 2018 season include growing our product selection with dairy products, seafood, meats, and certified organic produce,” Farmers Market staffer Crystal Caines said. Entertainment proposals and nonprofit applications are also always welcome.

The Hinesville Downtown Farmers Market was created to provide the community with the ability to purchase fresh, homegrown produce and agricultural products from local area growers in a culturally diverse setting that strengthens the local economy and enhances the community’s quality of life.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor please fill out the application and return it to our office. For more information, please call 912-877-4332 or email mainstreet@hinesvilledowntown.com.
